i tried googling this and searching the forums but i am not finding anything.

does anyone know how to enter a Job Title in Contacts in ML? i seem to remember being able to do this and i am not sure if it was on my Mac Pro that is running Lion or if it was on my iPhone or what the deal with this is.

/also/ is there a way to set what the defaults are?

i am always pulling down to "Work" when the default is "Home" or adding items like Fax etc, etc.

anyone have anything on this other than the 1 page mac tech article i found?

are there third party plugins that boost the functionality of contacts or other mac based software that i might buy (for syncing to Google Contacts etc, etc).

Card menu, Add Field > Job Title

As to the defaults, I'm not certain if it is completely fixed, but if you go to Preferences and set the template the way you want (fields, default labels, etc), it should set those as the defaults for new cards.

Google used to sync with contacts, but I'm not sure if it still does. You would just add your Google account info in the Accounts tab of preferences.

I'm pretty sure I had it set up to sync my contacts in the past, but that was quite a while ago. I don't keep contacts on Google at all anymore, so I really don't have any useful advice.
