Are you saying you changed your email address & then set up a new Apple ID, rather than changing your apple ID to your new email address?
Although someone said you can't change your Apple ID, that is wrong. I have changed it 3 times. I started out w a version of my name & had to change it to my email address when I got my iPhone since different parts of Apple have different ID requirements. & then I changed my email from my local isp to a gmail one. So I just went in to my Apple ID & in preferences or something I changed my email address which is my ID.
I can't remember the exact sequence & it would have been easier probably if you had done it before you apparently changed email addresses, but it seems as though it would be better to just have 1 Apple ID.
I have read of complications w iTunes if you have purchases under one ID & then use another.
So hope this helps. & you might consider logging into your old AppleID & changing it to the new email address & then getting rid of the new ID or something.
It was not necessary to create a new Apple ID. Simply go to: https://appleid.apple.com
Sign in using your old e-mail address. Once signed in you will be able to change the e-mail address (and Apple ID) to the new address.
I am on the 3rd e-mail address with the same Apple ID and all my previous purchases are now linked to my new e-mail address.
Hope this helps.
