Same problem here: a replacement of a iPhone 4S: can't use WIFI anymore I have had Apple support on the phone: they are totally useless. Time to switch to Android! Apple poducts are really low quality nowdays and their technical support is useless they are only good at sugegsting the €211 replacement option (which incidentally doesn't work).

can it fly, please check and respond, I have been asking apple to make it fly for last two years - did they finally do that?
Seriously thou, every troubleshooting is done by elimination of non problematic area. So question number one. Does your phone connect to other networks. Preferably not locked neighbor's but professionally managed networks, like Starbucks, or Apple store?

my home wifi is picked up by my Mac and iPad (who hasn't been updated: I refuse to update it to IOS 6 after my iPhone experience) and no, it doesn't connect to other networks. I don't know it it is a hardware problem of the recent iPhones or a software problem: the fact is that newgroups have been going about about this since September 2012 and there is still no fix for it!

Newsgroups have been going about it since wifi existed. Every wifi device at one point or the other has problems. Go to Amazon and check reviews of bluray players. As players they are all excellent, but no brand has good reviews when wifi is concerned. Wifi is vulnerable, just like any connection. There was a time when Ethernet was not reliable. Cellular or any other connection device is always having problems. Goal is to know how to fix those. I personally come to that forum to learn and sometimes to help others. I do not care what you do, or refuse to do. But when you do recognize that knowledge is power, instead of dismissing options you will start considering those. Do not get me wrong, I am not flexible person myself. I just know a bit. Your statement that your other devices connect to network, shows me how much you know. I will provide advice to original poster if she comes back, you are on your own.
