Q: Downloading from SD card to IPad has duplicated the albums as last import & all imported, there is no facility to delete one album. Any help on this?

    Yes I have has this issue aswell wanting to delete whole albums at a time, it is stupid that ale hasn't provided this. However your issue is different, the photos on. Your ipad should not be duplicated but present in different albums, if you try to delete a photo from one album it should disappear on the other, so I do not recommend you do this. If you do need to quickly erase photos of your ipad though, there is a better way to do it then having to check all the boxes and deleting them, watch this YouTube video:

    Are you saying you now have two "Last Import" albums and two "All Imported" albums?

     

    You don't say what version of iOS you have; the following is for iOS 6.1.2:

    You can indeed delete an album, if it is one you explicitly created. Just touch the "Edit" button in the Albums tab, touch the circled "X" on the album, and confirm the deletion. You can't delete the albums created automatically.
