HT3302: iPhone and iPod: Liquid damage is not covered by warranty

Learn about iPhone and iPod: Liquid damage is not covered by warranty

HT3302 I have an IPhone 4S. The LCI is red in the earphone jack socket. The one in the charge point is not. The phone is less than a week old and has not been near water. Could this be a faulty LCI?
