For some time I have put all of my "music eggs" into the iTunes basket instead of WMP and Sonos.  I network my library on my PC with Apple TV's and my iPad mini setup to use the "remote app" functionality via Airplay. Ever since the major new update to version 11 my iPad serach tool has become partially useless as it does not successfully locate tracks when searching for specific artists.  This issue was fixed on the PC version but still does not work on the iPad despite the recent app update stating "improved search functionality".  Come on Apple - this is basic and it works on the other devices.  Maybe time to switch back to WMP as iTunes has been nothing but a pain in the backside since the so-called upgrade to V.11 - the GUI has also gone backwards since the upgrade. Can anyone assist please - how about you Apple guys too?

We might be having the same issue.  What I have noticed is that the Itunes App shows all of my content when I search directly on my Itunes library, on the PC.  But when I try to control my Itunes content through an Apple TV, all that I can see is the content that I purchased on the Apple store.  Do you see any pattern to the issue?

I submitted a complaint to Apple and someone was working on it, but now it seems she is no longer at Apple.
