Q: Is there any way to not copy the images but still view them on the ipad? I want to use my ipad as a viewer but not copy the images over...

I want to use the ipad to review wildlife photos but since I get hundreds at a time I do not want to copy them to the ipad. I only want to review them from the SD card.

As far as I know. no. There may be some photo apps that allow that but the native app does not support previewing off a card. It will only do it off the main drive. (although I'm sure you know you can import, view and then delete)

You can only review the thumbnail size pics. You have to import to see full size.
