I'm having a different problem. I had a huge collection of signatures (over 400) and had Mail assigning one at random with each new e-mail. A couple of days ago I went to send one and there were no signatures available for that account. I checked in the Preferences pane and there were no signatures listed. When I went to the Signatures folder in Users>Username>Library>Mail>V2>MailData>Signatures all the signatures were there with the .webarchive file type. How do I get them back into my account?

I have a GMail account and a business Yahoo account. Separate signatures for each account. The GMail one is working but the other one is not. Even though they are both defined in the signature settings and allocated in the same way to each account. Very weird and annoying.

I tried everything I could find online and finally this worked for me as a work around. Strange that Apple have no idea about this even though many people have similar issues.

I had this problem and was able to solve it by deleting the 'signature.plist" file from the ~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData folder. YMMV.

Just curious… did you log out of iCloud before deleting the .plist file, or did you delete it while still logged in?
Thanks in advance…
