Q: Camera connection kit works on one ipad and not another

Hi please help,bought a apple camera connection kit which works fine on my partners ipad2 but will not work on my ipad2.

Any ideas?

Try the reset as above.  If that doesn't fix it, the next step is to make sure you have enough storage on your iPad.  Check Settings > General > Usage and make sure you have a reasonable amount of free space.

 

The next step would be to restore your iPad using iTunes.

    An iPad 2 is an iPad 2 ... there is no inherent difference in the hardware.

     

    Does your iPad 2 have a case in the way, or some other obstruction?

     

    Is the problem physical (connection doesn't fit), or something else (not recognized by software)?  If the latter, try resetting the iPad.  Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.

    Hi and thanks for the reply,no the problem is not physical it fits fine it just doesn't work,when plugged into my partners ipad it's recognised and you can upload photos but on mine nothing happens.

    Hi,sorry for the delay in getting back to this post but have been away working.

    Have tried all the above and still nothing it just doesn't work I think I will be returning the ipad to apple because I bought it new less than a month ago :(

    Just a quick update,after leaving the connection kit plugged in for about ten minutes it decided to work.

    Now I am totally confused because it works almost instantly on the other ipad.

     

    Really getting pi**ed off with this now thought these things were supposed to be the best.

    Problem solved,exchanged ipad for another and camera kit works as it should so guess my original pad was faulty.

    I found apple's ipad great,i use its apps for my business purpose also,as i run electronic shopping establishment omansuq.com.om,i find ipad very useful
