Table showing what boot camp version is acceptable for your Mac computer: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5634?viewlocale=en_us

Surprise! Mac Pro 3.1's Boot Camp version to be used should only be 4 and Windows 8 is not supported! I have been using 5 in Windows 7 & 8
and see here that no version is to be used for Windows 8 though I've been using it with pre-release versions since early 2012 through to the paid for version now available.

My questions:
1) In my Windows OSs should I replace BCamp 5 version with BCamp 4 version?

2) Should I not be using Windows 8 at all: could it damage my Mac Pro because it does not have proper power or chip, video adapter software from Apple software?

3) Both Windows OSs are on a separate disk; I currently see Windows 7 Pro 64 bit icon on Mt. Lion desk top. It does not see/include Windows 8 space which was created by Split of Windows 7 space and 8 is active/default boot OS. If I want to get rid of Windows 7 would Mac accept an OS that Bootcamp does not support or do I have to buy a new Computer that supports Windows 8?
