I created a pamphlet and I saved it. Today I tried going into edit it and it will not allow me to do so. It acts as though it is locked. How do I regain access to it finish it?

Pages, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

Sounds as if you have gone into demo mode, after 30 days, when Pages will let you read the document but not edit it.

Either that or Mountain Lion has locked it after a proscribed period of it not being opened.

If you read down further in the posts it appears these system preferences were removed from Mountain Lion (OSX 10.8).

I don't use Time Machine, for this and other reasons, so can't duplicate the problem.

Do you have Time Machine turned on?

When you open the document it should give you the opportunity to Unlock the file, as in the screen snap.

Do you see this when you open the file? :

Have you tried going to the file in Finder, getting Info on it and manually unlocking it?
