Currently Being ModeratedMar 4, 2011 7:00 PM (in response to deronsizemore)I have the exact same issue on my iPhone and iPad. Our company just migrated to exchange 2007 in November. Each morning I get the promptmon both devices after unlock. I thought this was due to our company lock out from 12am - 6am for backups, but hearing you have the issue has me thinking it's a software bug.
I also am having isssues with the phone downloading messages. It just keeps saying "connecting" but takes in some cases 30-60 minutes. This is even with 5 cell bars and full n band wifi. I also am running MobileMe and gmail on the phone, but only MobileMe and exchange are set form push.
Please help if you can. Thank you.MacBook, Windows XP, Windows at work, all apple at home
Currently Being ModeratedMar 7, 2011 8:18 AM (in response to crazymfr)I'm sorry that I'm not going to be much help. I'm still searching for answers myself. Although I can tell you that this seems to be some sort of bug and not normal behavior because of backups running or something.
I will post the solution to the problem if I do end of fixing it.MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.2)
Currently Being ModeratedMar 8, 2011 7:39 AM (in response to wjosten)I actually hadn't thought of that, wjosten. As it turns out, it looks like that may just be our issue. Looks like a lot of our older user accounts are set to block access from 2am - 3am. Maybe it was set that way a few years ago for backup jobs or something, I'm not sure. I had one user tell me just a few minutes ago that it seems to happen around 2am, though. So, I'm hopeful that this is the fix. I'll post back tomorrow morning and let you know if that worked.MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.2)
Currently Being ModeratedMar 9, 2011 7:23 AM (in response to deronsizemore)Seems that was the fix. Once I allowed all of our users access at all times, the message went away. Hope this thread helps someone else.MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.2)

We are experiencing the same issue with users getting prompted, but Apple device users only. Where do I go to check on the user's login time restriction? Is this an Exchange setting or AD? I checked the setting in AD for these users and they can logon 24x7. Not sure where else to look. Thanks.

We have the same problem since we recently have provided all Iphone 5 to all our users and they get the Exchange password prompt each morning and if they press cancel then all the mail is syncs fine.
Can anyone reply back and let me know the exact settings location to change for this solution please..
