I downloaded the pages app but the apple Id that comes up before the app starts is not mine and hence it doesn't open up. It's charged my credit card though... Any tips as to how to change the apple I'd in pages? rest of the iPad has correct apple id

iPad 2, iOS 6.1

Where does the "Apple I.D." appear?

I've never seen it in relation to an app download, other than to OK the purchase.

Has someone else been using your iPad?

If it isn't yours, why don't you type in your own?

You could try Settings > General > Reset All Settings

But I'd be very wary of doing that without some advice from Apple as to the consequences.

Do you have an AppleStore nearby or AppleCare so you can call Apple support?

Sounds like she may have signed herself in on your iPad. Try going to settings->Itunes & App stores, then clicking on the user id. Then logout, then log back in with your User Id. That should clear up the issue. If not, let us know.
