My iphone got thrown hard to the floor. It was a direct throw, not sailing in an arc or anything but just thrown directly to the floor in a straight line, and it was a hard throw.

After about 15 minutes, I tried to turn it on but it didn't, and itunes doesn't recognise it. It doesn't have a sim card, so I'm not daring to reset it, but should I reset it? Or do I have to take it to apple?
