Q: can't update app in app store, keep asking to sign in to another account which does not exist

Aftering 2nd update on mountain lion, I can no longer update an app in App Store without having to delete the app then reinstall. If I attempt the update, it keeps telling me to login to the account for that app, which is what I have signed in. Anyone knows what causes this and how to fix it?

First, see > http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4236

If it doesn't work, that application may be hidden, so unhide it > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4928 Then, you should be able to update the application
