Nothing in the list of issues fixes states that a battery drain was fixed and frankly there isn't one to be fixed.

99% of battery issues are resolved with basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide which is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).  The remainder are either a hardware issue or an issue unique to the way the user is using the device.  Something that is not easily or readily duplicated amoung a larger set of users.

"there isn't one to be fixed"

iHad(!) 3 brand new iPhone 5 in the last 4 weeks, all of them with all the services OFF, no apps, brithness all the way down, no Wi-Fi,  had only about 5 hours of "Usage" time on all 3 of them, so please stop all the BS, apple needs to fix that, because there is definitely a battery problem on it.....Geez!

Interesting post. So if you had no apps, display all the way off , no services, no wifi, what exactly did you do for the 5 hrs being reported? I assume you had no cell signal either?

few 2-3min phone calls, surfing the net, facebook....thats it

what i wanted to say that i`m not that kind o person to have lots of apps, i`ve downloaded Skype, Facebook, Mail.com, Youtube, that`s all, all of them with push notifications OFF

It eats like 20-30% an hour just by surfing the Facebook, no downloads, no videos

    Thanks for your reply!

I updated yesterday and now I am unable to connect through Wi-Fi.  All of the info is gone and it will not allow me to put anything in.  Anyone else having this problem?

I have a 4s that had the 6.1.1 battery drain. It was fixed by the 6.1.2 update!!! After the update to 6.1.3 my iPhone drained empty within an houre & took hours to recharge. I realy thought this was fixed after 6.1.2 & now back to the drawing board!!! Does anybody know a fix or do we wait untill the next update? 6.1.2 did fix my battery so how can this update make it ten times worse?

OK that makes more since. So there were some apps being used. BTW the ones you mentioned FB, Skype, youtube, all are ones that will chew through battery. So the combination of those could definitley cause this issue. Especially using them over 3g/lte (you stated wifi was off too). Thats a LOT different than your previous post I responded to. Thanks for the clarification.

    THAT WAS MY POST!!!

I restored my phone back to 2012" backup & still it installed 6.1.3 on my iPhone. Everything was just put back App wise!!! Restored it again to recent backup, the phone battery is draining in less than two hours. Yes I turned everything off rebooted, turned it back on & rebooted!!! No change.so that's when I started the restoring!!! What use is iCloud anyway? As I said before 6.1.2 was fine maybe not as good as originally but better than 6.1.1!!! SO APPLE WE ARE LOYAL CUSTOMERS I MEAN IM GRANDFATHERED IN TO AT$T SINCE THE iPhone ONE SO FIX THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Thats how long it takes the battery to drain).
