It is all in the Mutlicam setup window. You need to assign each clip a Camera Angle name. Go to the Inspector, Video section, and use the bottom left menu to change the Metadata View to General View. You'll see the Camera Angle field you can fill out.
If using the Automatic settings, this will put them each in their own Multclip Channel.
If doing it manually, you want to set "Angle Assembly" to "Camara Angle".

Angle Assembly - which clips go to which angles (tracks).
Angle Clip Ordering - if more than one clip goes to a specific angle (track), what order do they go in.
Angle Syncronization - how do all clips in all angles get sync'ed together.
