How do I get the contents of my 3.5 floppy disk onto my intel mac?
Clearly it will only be useful if the data is just that - data, readable by an app on your G5.

Mar 21, 2013 8:51 PM in response to dmckrootby Jan Hedlund,★HelpfulA Windows PC can be used to read 1.44 MB Mac-formatted floppies, but that would require a special utility (such as TransMac).
Please note that a PC floppy drive cannot handle 800K Mac floppies. The same is true for an external USB floppy drive connected to a Mac. So, if you have a 3.5" Mac-formatted diskette that is not HD (1.44 MB), an older (pre-1998) Macintosh computer with a built-in floppy drive must be used.
