Well, I just downloaded it.  I hope that does the trick.  If so, it'll be the best Mac application in years!

SnoozeMaster uses EventKit, which is the API Apple introduced in 10.8 to access Calendar events and alarms.

Definitely compatible with iCal. I'm unaware what BusyCal uses.

I just had my first alarm go off since installing it, and it worked pefectly!  This SnoozeMaster is awesome!  One thing to note, however, is that my iCal notification returned a minute later after Snoozing it with SnoozeMaster.  Upon reading the docs I noticed that yes, I need to turn off Calendar notifications in the System Settings so that I don't get both SnoozeMaster and Notifications - just SnoozeMaster.

It's working wonderfully so far. Sadly it doesn't work with the birthday calendar since it says it is read only. Is there any way around that?

The Birthday calendar is dynamically created by the system from your Contacts. Unfortunately, we're limited to what Apple has allowed EventKit to do at this time. Two other limitations people should be aware of:

    - EventKit won't allow SnoozeMaster to set alarms on events created from a meeting invitation. For some reason, Apple lets iCal do it, but it won't let EventKit do it.

    - EventKit cannot manage delegated calendars. This is a limitation that exists on EventKit on iOS also, and while there are some workarounds, it doesn't quite work out of the box.

These are all EventKit limitations at this point in time. For general usage, they shouldn't be a problem, but it's something we feel people should be aware of.

At any rate, pease feel free to contact us on our info or support email accounts with any questions.

Steve, it does not have that option at this time. We'll look into adding the ability of doing something like that.

Awesome, just downloaded this and had my first snooze pop up.

Many thanks for developing this and I look forward to any improvements over time. (maybe a drop down menu like Lion used to do with the common snoozes in it, rather than typing in a value).

    Thanks

Mark, you can do that right now, but it's even better: Go to the Snooze menu on your menubar and select Preferences. You then configure preset snooze options there. When an event pops up, you'll have a drop down menu on the snooze button to pick from your presets.

You can configure your presets just like Lion or make up your your own.

    lol, yes just seen this

I wondered what the zzzzzzzzz menu was at the top of my screen and then found the preferences

Am configuring my usual presets right now.

    Thanks again
