Nov 30, 2012 10:20 AM in response to MacMark8by tekcor,It's fast user switching. At least in my case. I *never* have the problem after a reboot. Once the user account has been switched, the problem will not go away until I reboot again. I've been able to get it very reproducible.

Nov 30, 2012 10:29 AM in response to Sharkutoby Markdavin,God, it seems to be working. If that really solves it then I owe you a drink.
I've been struggling with this problem for a while and it really hinders workflow and increases my blood pressure.

Mar 22, 2013 11:57 AM in response to it-doesnt-workby metoson,I had the same problem.
I did everything clean install new mouse hit the magic mouse on the wall with no help.
What helped me is to in setting accesibility uncheck the Enable access for assistive devices. A third party application was abusing up this.
I am happy with an old mouse now:)

Mar 23, 2013 6:31 AM in response to Jonathan Steinby TServo,Well, after reading this post I pulled out my USB bluetooth adapter (which I was only using for a bluetooth keyboard), went wired and problem solved! I don't even want to try plugging it back in to test my theory; just happy everything's working again; it was driving up the friggin wall for months now.
Thanks for the tip! Good luck to everyone else still dealing with this.

Apr 5, 2013 6:00 PM in response to MacMark8by TServo,OK, so for anyone who's experiencing this issue and is running the "Typeit4me" text correction and expansion utility in the background,TURN IT OFF. For some reason it seemed to clear the issue right up for me. I was hesitant (and still a little shakey) about posting this since the last time I posted what I thought was a solution turned out not to be. But I've had no click issues for almost a week now since turning that program off which would normally be running in the background. I'd be interested to know if this solves anyone elses left-click issue.

Sep 14, 2013 8:55 AM in response to MacMark8by Brian K Media,{{{ POSSIBLE SOLUTION }}}
I was having the same problem. Here's the solution that seems to have solved it for me:
Go to: Apple Icon > System Preferences > Mouse
Then reduce the "Double-Click-Speed" for the left mouse button.
I had mine almost all the way towards "Fast" and I slid it back to the center, and that seems to have done the trick. We'll see..

Sep 14, 2013 9:34 AM in response to MacMark8by igorxx,Same problem, random left clicks, I read this thread, did all the reboots, clean install, accessibility stuff, etc., to no avail.
Some people got rid of spotify, and it solved the problem, but I don't have spotify, but did recently add the safari exstension curiyo, uninstalled it an problem solved .
