Yes, my iphone 5 is a disaster .  Must have been to the Apple Store 15 times, replaced my phone, and restored it as new at least a half dozen times.  The iPhone 5 and all updates from 6.0.1 are battery drains.  Most likely will sell my iPhone 5 on craigslist and get a 4S instead.

It certainly seems to be draining faster on my 5 since installing 6.1.3. It's 4pm local time and usually my iPhone 5 would have around 75% battery (from a full charge at 6am) at this time of day. Now it's 40%.

Some users report increased battery drain, some report improved battery drain. And most notice no difference (as witnessed by the fact that they didn't post anything).

After every update there are a few people who experience a sudden change in battery life. But every one of them posts a message about it, so it sounds like a major problem. If it happens (which is a rare occurrence) there are simple troubleshooting steps that will fix it.

Ive found that iCloud is creating issues for me now.   I ended up turning off all the services while still signed in, then one by one turning them on.  I think I narrowed it down to the synchronization of Safari bookmarks.

My thoughts are -YES - if you are happy with your version DONT upgrate to 6.1.3. My iphone 5 was perfect - I use to brag how long the battery lasted ... then came 6.1.3 and I need to do a full recharge 2/3 times daily.

If you already have issues with battery then do it. I think a new bug has been introduced when they tried to resolve battery issues on exchange ... maybe it fixes the way some people use the syncronisation but breaks others.

I can watch the battery drain as I do things ... the iphone now has a new feature and will work well as a personal heater in the winter months!!!

Tried registering with support to speak and chat with apple to see whats happening but surprisingly the Support Webpage doesnt seem to work! Just hangs in chat and says my phone number is invalid when I try and enter it for a call. WAPOC!
