Yes just do the upgrade within OSx. Your Bootcamp partition and the two hidden partitions (EFI/Windows Boot Rom) are not affected .

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
When you upgrade OS X, the Windows partition isn't (or shouldn't be) modified, so you won't lose anything. However, if the upgrade fails, you may lose your Windows, so I recommend you to make a backup with WinClone.
After upgrading, I recommend you to update the Boot Camp drivers on Windows. Open Boot Camp Assistant, tick the option to download the Windows support software and follow the steps. Then, start in Windows and install the Boot Camp drivers

Thanks guys! I called apple awhile back and the guy that I talked to said (after a little research) that the update would erase my whole partition so good to hear that is not true!
