I swapped out an older Mac mini with a new iMac on my network running Mountain Lion. All was well until I wiped out the mini, reinstalled Snow Leopard, and put it back on the network with a new user account and IP address. Now I have two issues:

1. Can't run ARD Client installer on the older machine. Message says It can only be installed on Lion machines. How do I create an installer for 10.6??

2. ARD scanner shows the name of the newly reformatted mini with the IP address of the new iMac. When I add it to computers and control it, the new iMac screen comes up, even though it says it's the mini. When I get info, it shows the mini's name with the iMac's address.

I just want to be able to administer both machines remotely. It used to be easy to do...
