Mar 25, 2013 1:43 PM in response to leftyglby KarenSelena,Mobile Me no longer exists, so delete this account from mail. To do this, open mail, and select the word "Mail" beside the apple, then select "preferences".
When the preferences window opens, choose the "accounts" tab. Select the Mobile Me address in the left hand column, then click the "-" sign in the lower left.

Mar 25, 2013 1:46 PM in response to leftyglby Kappy,MobileMe has been gone for quite some time now. Since late 2011.
If you did not then switch over to iCloud, then you will need to create an iCloud account - it's free.

Mar 25, 2013 2:10 PM in response to leftyglby Kappy,You don't have a Mobile Me account. It's been removed. You need not delete anything. It's all gone. You just have an iCloud account. You may still have a me.com or mac.com email address but I assume you altered the email address you wished to use for your iCloud account and Apple ID to an icloud.com email address.

Mar 25, 2013 2:49 PM in response to leftyglby Kappy,I think you can still use them, but Apple would prefer you switch to an icloud.com account. I suppose that could be because the old addresses may one day eliminated.
You can still get your email on the old account via iCloud.com website.
