I upgraded my iMac to Mountain Lion and have lost some printer functions. No longer have "Power PC". what does that mean and what can I do to sort it out. This is becoming a VERY expensive upgrade.

Thank you

Apple dropped support for running old PowerPC-only applications with Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. You will probably need to contact your printer manufacturer for a newer driver and/or utility software. The same would apply to any other applications you may have that also are PowerPC-only.

    Regards.

    There are less expensive options...

What is the model of your printer; does it scan?  Also what PowerPC apps do you use?
