Welcome to the Apple Support Communities

See > Boot Camp doesn't support Windows 8 on 2009 MacBooks. However, your Mac is compatible with Windows 8 because it meets the hardware requirements, but the problem is that Apple hasn't provided Boot Camp drivers for it, so Windows 8 won't run properly.

If you want to use Boot Camp to install Windows, you have to use Windows 7. If you want Windows 8, install Parallels, VMware Fusion or VirtualBox, and install Windows 8 on a virtual machine

Check out this tutorial from projectRelentless

Most people have had success getting Windows 8 running on non-supported Macs using his method.

Be sure to read thw WHOLE tutorial thread as he made an error on which BootCamp 4.0 drivers to download which is corrected later in the thread.

    Let us know if successful.
