    Background with:

    iOS4 i could keep my iPhone4 w/o recharge upto 15 days.

iOS5 it went down to 10 days.

    iOS6 it's less than 7 days.

iOS 6.1.3 about 3 days, until fixed.

Main reason for battery drainage is Cellular Data. Since iOS5 I had to disable Cellular Data then not used.

I have everything turned off as recommended in various tips and tricks. I have never Jailbroke my iPhone.

I am using a App called Netstat to monitor internet connections.

In iOS5 iPhone started to connect to Apple-Push even if Notifications were off, which it didnt in iOS4.

Biggest battery drainer is keeping iPhone logged in at iTunes & App Stores.

I noticed yesterday after several days on frustration on why my iPhone dropped 10% charge in 4 hours,

that it was logged into Music/Home Sharing as well. Logged out and Battery has drained 5% since yesterday.

Thats 24 hours and 5% drainage. Acceptable for me.

Is apple waiting for 6.1.3 jailbreak so they can patch it in 6.1.4? If thats not the cause why not just release 6.1.4 to fix battery issues as almost everyone complaining?

Getting ridiciolous now! 3 updates and still very very poor battery life! Used my iPhone with brightness down sound off and background apps closed on FaceBook messenger on 3G with WIFI off (I wasnt moving so it wasn't searching for a mast all the time).. It dropped from 71% at 7:15am to 21% at 9am!

Seriously considering going to Android if this isn't sorted soon! I use it at school the same amount of time every day (fully charged in morning) and normally got home it was in he 70 or 80s percentage wise. Now it's in the low 60s or 50 percent!

    SORT IT OUT

I have the 4s (Verizon) and have noticed a significant difference in the battery.  Generally I would go to work on a full charge and with little use leave around 80%, yesterday after almost no use the phone was down to 40% and once I started texting I had to charge the phone.

I was going to pickup the 5 this weekend for the LTE, I'm thinking I'll hold off to see how Apple responds.

I don't think it has anything to do with apps or processes or logging out of the App Store.

The OS is fine and then something happens after a charge that it displays the incorrect percentage.

Obviously if you turn everything off and the Data your battery will last longer. But then. What's the point of having a Smart Phone?

Those are 2 different issues. 1 is the drain of iCloud and other services. The other is the OS displaying the wrong percentage.

If like me, you reset at 11% and it comes back at 18% then there's an issue. Now I know it'll be fine for a few days. Then crap out again. Again I'll have to calibrate and hard reset it until it behaves again. If I don't hard reset and do all that, turning off this and that won't make any difference because its still displaying the wrong percentage.

ie, for whatever reason after a charge it says its 100% fully charged when it isn't.

You should go to an Apple Store and get inf. from the genius. They must change your battery.

Same here on Vodafone Ireland, Fully charged 1 week old iPhone 5 all apps closed at night, wake up with 79% battery from fully charged over night with no activity - Apple needs to fix this problem.  It fails me to understand why they never find this in testing!!
