My older iMac (PowerPC G4, 800 mhz) won't connect to the internet via airport. The iMac has an airport card and can see the wireless router (full bars), but won't connect to the Internet. The router is a Netgear N300 Wireless Router installed by my cable company. Any help/tip would be appreciated.

Best,

Matt

    Has this setup worked before?

have you connected wirelessly to another router?  if so connect that old router via ethernet cable to the new router.

as a test, turn off encryptions on the router.

as a test, try an ethernet cable connection to the router?

I think you have the old airport card.  You may need to set up with WEP encryption ( which is of questionable value. )
