How are fonts managed in Pages? Where are they purchased?

    Pages uses the fonts installed in OSX. Those can be in several locations, the Admin Library, the individual User libraries or in the folders installed with some third party software such as Adobe's Creative Suite.


    Fonts are installed simply by double clicking on font files, and can be viewed in Font Book, which is on every Mac and can also temporarily turn Fonts or groups of fonts on or off.


    Fonts are sold on many websites by Adobe, Monotype, URW, etc but there are also now many websites with free high quality fonts of which Squirrel Fonts is the best.
