I cannot eject my ipod classic by normal means. I can force close it my going into my computer and right clicking on the ipos drive, I can restart my computer and eject it before the computer boots up again, and if I reboot the computer and eject the ipod before the computer starts up by removing the cable from the computer. This actually temporaroy fixes the problem for a very short period of time. But id I want to eject the ipos by normal means in ITUNES then I get an error message saying files are in use and cannot eject. Please close the files on your device that are in use and try again. I want to know what is causing this problem. I have looked at other threads and many people suggest solutions but dont really know. Has anyone come accross a perminent fix and knows for sure the cause of the problem?

iPod classic, Windows 7
