Hello,

I have just moved to mac and pointed my screen saver to my pictures folder and all the pictures are 1mb in size with a lowest resolution 4416 × 3312. Why do I still get blury images in my shifting titles screen saver?

Your issue is probably due to a large amount of

compression involved to get a 4418X3312 image

down to 1mb and then blowing it back up tp screen

    size.

I would suggest using some image processing app

to rezise it to the pixel dimensions of your display

and use much less compression.  I have an Apple

Thunderbolt display (2560X1440) and my images

sized for it at best jpeg quality are 2-3 MB.  If your

display is lower resolution, then your files will be

    smaller.

sorry but I open these images elsewhere on the mac and they are fine. I have many other sizes from 100mb + to 1mb averasge around 8mb. Some are fine some not I dont think it has anything to do withthe resolution of the image.

What I have read is that Apple tv stores images in flash, it is unable to shuffle more than 100 or so images. it may somehow stored some low res images in flash I dont know how to flush this out.

I think I have discovered the issue I have hidden folders in each of my pricture folders:

    .@__thumb

this folder contains low res thumbs of the pictures that I have.

I have 195 with this in. When I search with finder it does not find these folders and pictures. How do I remove all of these pictures without going through folder by folder?

    Thanks in advance
