As I said in my 11/26 post, I sent mine back to Apple. A couple of days later I got a new one from them. No details on what the problem was. They only said they determined that they would not repair the original one I sent them.
I made an appointment at the Genius Bar and they replaced it for me on the spot! No receipt, no hassle. I think they are able to check your warranty with your serial number so all you need is your iPod Touch.
Hello, I have the same problem, it shows low battery while connected to power, and did DFU but appears Error 1602. I bought via amazon.com in February 2013, I am in Ecuador. As I can do to get technical support. Thank you.
Hello again! Yesterday I went with iPod to Mac Center in Guayaquil, they told me it looks like a hardware problem so goes the warranty, they sent to the U.S. for inspection and deliver between 10-15 days.
