I have a late 2010 MBA with 4GB RAM, 256GB SSD. The BCA seems to work fine, i.e. I can partition the drive and download the required driver files. I own a USB 2.0 LaCie Portable DVD+/-RW w/LightScribe external disk drive. After the partition portion of the BCA, after restart, I get "no bootable device -- please insert disk and hit any key." I am using a genuine Win 7 Ultimate install disk.

After having this problem, I searched online and created a bootable USB thimbdrive from a USB 2.0 4GB SanDisk Cruser with an image of the disk mentioned above, but received the same error.

Am I doing something wrong, and if so, how do correct the issue?
