Apple doesn't provide technical support via chat in any country I'm aware of. What "chat" were you trying to use?

I'm trying to get a recurring iOS6 problem corrected - the devices continually say "unable to connect to network" when trying to connect to WIFI and three consecutive chats have been disconnected by apple.
Is this because they don't want to solve the problem?
Or could it possibly be related to your WIFI connection issue and your device is dropping the connection?
I would suggest calling Apple instead of trying to chat over a wonky wifi connection.
