When i play music from my ipod playlist usually it shows as recently played but for one reason or the other this does not show any more. I usually use this list to play my favourist music because I have loads of music on my ipod. Please advise me what to do to correct this. Thanks for your cooperatiion.

Where did you previously see "recently played" on the iPod's screen?  I don't think that is a built-in song view on the iPod, but if it is on that model, the Setting to show/hide it would be on the Settings screen somewhere, maybe under General.

However, if you use automatic syncing, perhaps you had the Recently Played playlist in iTunes selected as one of the playlists you synced to the iPod.  This would have appeared on the iPod's screen by first selecting Music - Playlists.

In iTunes, in the sidebar, look under PLAYLISTS for Recently Played.  That is a Smart Playlist.  During syncing, the iPod spends data on songs played on the iPod since the last sync.  The Recently Played playlist updates based on this data from the iPod, and syncs back to the iPod (if the Recently Played playlist is on the iPod).

To see where you select Recently Played to be on the iPod, select the iPod in iTunes.  Click on the Music tab (next to Summary).  If Sync Music is currently check, that means you are using automatic syncing.  Please post back to say if Sync Music is currently checked.
