Q: Unable to add printer

Last week I was having an issue with sending data to my Brother MFC-J430W printer (previously no problems). In frustration I deleted the printer and tried to add it again but the Mac couldn't find the printer. I have tried a number of times without success. Any advice appreciated.

I am using 10.8.3 if that helps.

What do you mean, what errors occurred when you tried, can you ping the printer at its address. Unless you provide some information I can't help, I am not clairvoyant!

I went out and bought a usb wired connection to try which has worked. Not the ideal solution but at least it now works. Kind of defeats the object of buying a wifi printer.
