Hello there all.   I'm currently on Mc Mail 4.6.  In recent months, I have noticed a large drop off of incoming emails.  Also, I've had some folks claim that they keep sending me emails, but I'm not getting them and then 3rdly, I've seen two instances recently where I've opened an email and a couple of seconds later, it has disappeared right before my eyes completely without trce.    Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?   I'd really appreciate a bit of clarity on this situation.

Aloha

You can re-install Mail 4.6 by downloading and applying the 10.6.8 combo update. You can safely do this whether you have previously done it or not.   Then software update.

My Mail 4.6 is doing just what Sean Davey described, even though I updated to OS 10.6.8.  I am losing important messages. Can anyone help?

    Hello,

my mail 4.6 also is eating some my mails, but outgoing.

When I send one, sometimes it lasts longer than usual and then I can’t find it neither in "Gesendet - sent" nor in "Entwürfe - drafts" nor in any folder within Host Europe, where my account runs.

Mostly the mail anyway comes to the addressee, but I would like to have the original on my harddrive as usual.

    What to do?

    Thanks Hans
