In iTunes go to Edit>Preferences>Devices and hover your pointer over your device. It will show you the serial number etc.
This assumes that you have backed up your device at some point.

Afraid that I didn't back it up using itunes, in fact just let icloud sync all my data. Anyway, tried what you mentioned but unfortunately the S/N doesnt appear.

Thanks for the suggestion - just had a look and unfortunately not registered here neither. Might you be aware of any other method?

Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.
