I'm going to assume you done a reinstall of Mac OS X.
What you need to do is make sure the iBook is up-to-date. Mac OS X 10.3.9
You will need to ensure you have the airport extreme software updated to version 5.7
Here is a link to help with that http://support.apple.com/kb/DL409?viewlocale=fr_FR
Best of Luck

Thank you both for the suggestions.
The Airport Extreme was up tp date.
I did end up getting it to connect, though.
What I did was change the WPA2 encryption to WPA/WPA2. The iBook took the password just fine after that, I was connected to the internet, and was able to update to 10.3.9
I guess my last question is this:
I'm not worried about my iBook so much, as I just plan to play around with it. But is that setting sufficient for my Macbook Pro?
I'm assuming that WPA/WPA2 will be?
Thanks for your advice!!

Create an uncrackable password. Well, almost uncrackable.
