    i have a magic trackpad, too, so i'd appreciate support.

    it's just weird for it to not work like it's supposed to.

    @vladimir, I know it's published in this thread, I already knew that, but the request is for you to make a [Changelog] or [Version History] page at http://trackpad.powerplan7.com/ and publish it there [with all historical changes too, not just a replaced copy of the latest ones], that would be great as it makes this information far more accessible to the thousands of people that visit your website!

    It's chaotic and disorganised if only ever published on the thread, please do it if possible <3. (You said you'd consider it, a few months ago :P.)

    I think you are asking in the wrong forum as most of the questions here are from users of Mac laptops.

    There is a huge potential market for WINDOWS ONLY PC's especially desktops and Home Theater PC's.

    As I have mentioned earlier I use my Lenovo IBM ThinkPad as my Home Theater PC with the MagicTrackpad daily.

    Thinking of the Mac community only is wrong especially since the MagicTrack Pad is the perfect solution for PC's and especially HTPC's when coupled with the Apple Wireless Keyboard.

    The Bullettrain Express is the PERFECT EXAMPLE.

    Perhaps a search for Apple Magic Trackpad and Window might lead you to the proper forum/community to more accurately gauge the wants/needs.

    I am stuck using the Magic Tools http://www.trackpadmagic.com/magic-trackpad/home

    for my HTPC and although it works the Trackpad++ is far superior

    Over at MacRumors we have had a lively discussion about mating the Mac Wireless Keyboard with the MagicTrackpad for years -

    http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1013869

    Perhaps posing the same question over there might help.

    Also I'm sure Jake over at Bullettrain would be willing to pose the question to his customers if I asked.

    Again a BIG THANK YOU is always appropriate for what you have already accomplished.

    Know it is much appreciated!

    I tried using trackpad++ on my mac mini which has a Windows 7 boot camp but I consistently get an error stating that it did not install properly and to try again.

    Is it not compatible with the mac mini?

    Old problem but I've always forgot to report it:

    Every time I install Trackpad++ and the computer restarts, it will activate the "Always show all icons and notifications on the taskbar" setting which I prefer having turned off.

    3-finger middle click is more important to me than 3-finger drag (I can already drag by just pushing the dragging finger so hard it keeps the physical button pressed, low friction fingers yay). What's keeping you from activating 3-finger click at the same time as dragging?

    So back to the old behavior...

    Another old problem that I've already reported: "Invert swiping direction" is bugged. Under 4-fingers it affects vertical 3-finger swipes, under 3-fingers it affects horizontal 3-finger swipes.

    Also, horizontal 4-finger swipe only has one direction. Both left and right will switch to the "right" window.

    As another user recently suggested (and I did a long time ago), you should be able to map swipes to certain keystrokes, as from there you can do whatever you want with Autohotkey. I already do this with 3-finger swipes, but the 4-finger ones aren't that easy to use.

    @Vladimir,

    The invert function for four fingers (back/forward) does not invert the swiping direction. It has no effect for me. When I select the option, the direction I swipe still is has the same function as before.

    Otherwise, the four finger swipe is working for me normally.

    @Vladimir:

    Note that everything I said after "back to the old behavior" is referring to the old behavior, 2.3d.

    And while I prefer 3-finger middle click over dragging, I'd still like to have both. I don't want to use 4 fingers for things I use often, and I think both middle click AND dragging should be doable with 3 fingers.

    I confirm, 4-finger swipe is working perfectly. Left to go back, right to go forward. Never tried to invert the direction, though. Windows 8 x64 on the rMBP, Trackpad++ 2.4a

    To clarify again: The swipe bug only exists in 2.3d.

    Oh, and I'd still like to decrease the scrolling acceleration while keeping the non-accelerated speed.

    So I request a separate control for adjusting the acceleration, AND more fine-tuned adjustments.
