I have a HP 4380 printer.

I haven´t any problem printing by wifi since one week.

My printer have wifi and I can see hpsetup under "dispositivos" wifi icon in Snow Leopard but I can´t see the printer in the Printers Preferences menu.

I don´t have any problem printing with USB port.

I have reset the printer but this is not the problem.

What can I do??

It sounds like you are connecting to the printer using an AdHoc connection.  That should work, but to keep the wireless radio from going out before it should, the printer will stop broadcastin an AdHoc connection after an hour.  The Mac will stay connected to that network, but since it's not actually broadcasting, the Mac can't see it.  Make sure the WiFi light on the printer is blinking, that means it broadcasting the AdHoc network and looking for a WiFi network to connect to.  If the light's not blinking, turn the wireless radio back on and that should make things work.

    Thank you for your support.

But I mean that my printer wifi is OK because I can see the printer under Dispositivos but I can´t connect to it under Printer Preferences by wifi, only by USB.

It seems like the printer doesn´t want to connect to my Home Wifi.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Try unplugging the router for 30 seconds, plug it back to the power and wait for 2-3 minutes.

Next reboot both the printer and the Mac and check for any difference.

    Hi,

Thank you but I have probed it and this is not a solution.

It seems like the printer doesn´t want to connect to a Wifi.

I have searched in HP support but I haven´t found anything.

I see what's happening now.  This printer doesn't have a way to connect to the wireless network on it's own.  It requires going through the software to get it on a wireless network.  See the document below as a reference.

Installing the Printer Software on a Wireless Network

The software for this printer can only be obtained through Apple Software Updates.  Once you have the software for the printer you should be able to connect it to a wireless network, but that option may not be there for this printer due to the age of the device.  I can't say for sure, because I don't have one on hand.  I hope this helps.
