I had not launched Mail during this test.
O.K., then it is just a coincidence.

>>clean install, containing nothing but the bare MacOS X 10.7.5 installed via Internet Recovery, plus Aperture 3.4.3...
the upload worked fine, until I launched Mail. Then Aperture crashed immediately.
file/edit a bug report if that's repeatable, Ernie's test seems to suggest one anyway, w/o mail
did anyone check what other files are accessed, in search of a temporary fix?

If Mail had an impact, it would have been its call on RAM. Aperture in Lion behaves badly with memory management. I am going to review the complete log again for any insight about memory usuage.
I have sent numerous of these crash log to Apple. Not sure how to write a bug report, yet.

if it's repeatable, and your're playing anyway - does qutting aperture & removing cookies do anything good ?
you can likely remove just the fb one in Safari, if preferred.
else try opensnoop on aperture, or whatever other process it starts - see what other files are read just before the crash

The last two albums uploaded to Facebook from Aperture 3.4.3 in 10.8.3 have also misbehaved. No crash, but after showing all the selected photos in the FB album in the Library, any sync with Facebook again removes some that have apparently have not successfully completed upload. Eventually, further upload attempts will allow completion. Today I chose 14, uploaded, and only 9 showed up on FB. Earlier this weekend I had chosen 19, and something like only 13 made it the first attempt.
No crashing in 10.8.3, but incomplete uploading nevertheless. With this failure there is no message, crash log or anything to alert you to the incomplete upload.
Not even sure how to write this up, but some kind of bug, wouldn't you say? But that bug could be in Facebook!

Created another FB album, and selected to upload 7 images. Six of them made, but not the seventh, until the third attempt. No messages of warning, or anything, and initially the album, as seen in the Aperture Library showed a count of 7, but then synced and dropped back to 6?

Today I uploaded a 9 image and a 27 image albums to Facebook, and total success. This was from my rMBP and 10.8.3.

Aperture 3.4.4 in Lion (10.7.5) -- four image Album loaded quickly, and successfully to Facebook. Not sure if something fixed in 3.4.4, or if perhaps FB fixed something a couple of days ago. The issue as experienced (if the same issue at all) in Mountain Lion could be explained by something FB was doing, and maybe in Lion, also.
I would be curious if any of the earlier posters can replicate success?

Partly to test whether the success with 3.4.4 in Lion was a fluke or not, I uploaded a 10 image album to FB, with total sucess. Later I added two other images, with no issue.
