Q: RAW photos

Hello everyone - Im susing Mac Pro version OS X 10.8.6 and I cant upload RAW photos on Iphoto, what do I need/have

to do ? Please help - thanks !

Yes - I meant importing photos into Iphoto from CF card using USB connection. I have no problem importing jpeg pictures only Raw pictures that says "unreadable files or format" - pictures cant be imported

you have your numbers mixed around. There is no 8.6 and the latest iPhoto requires 10.7.5+

There is a forum for iphoto and support, as well as you know the Help menu and type query

Upload? you mean import or export. Or even Add to iPhoto Library From Preview, Image Capture, and most any other source.

Probably because your camera RAW is not supported by iPhoto '11 - 8.1.2 - and OS 10.6.8 - what camera do you have?

Hi Larry - thanks for your inputs. You might probably right. I'm using Canon 5D MK III. Is their any way that I can upgrade both iPhoto & OS ?

Depends on your system - look in the App store and see if you can upgrade to OS 10.8 or not - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5371?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
