Hello,

My MBP trackpad has gone crazy. It clicks on its own & performs all the gestures which annoys me to ****. However, it works fine on the login screen. Once I login, the trackpad seems normal. After that, trackpad goes mad. If I restart it, the trackpad again functions normally & then goes berserk like its been possessed. If I keep my MBP shut down for a while, then the trackpad works fine for a nice time. I have read all the posts in the discussion forum & tried most of them, but to no avail. Tried resetting the SMC, Pressed the trackpad with the palm etc etc.

Need a solution before I go to the Apple Care. I'm dreaded to go the Apple Care because there are no "Genius" there. Seems like a buncha retards, I feel more smart infront of them. Actually have a prior incident with them with my Mac Mini & they charged a huge amount & gave a further quotation for installing new hardware as they said the existing one was obsolete, when all it required was a re-installation of OS X, which I did on my own & now my Mac Mini works just as new.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)
