Which is better needs to be determined on a user by user basis. If you don't think you'd need a DVD drive, get a MacBook Air.

Perfect! Thank you. Exactly what I was looking for. This a bit more comprehensive than the one I found online.
I still buy dvds. Makes me think I'd want the Pro, but love the lightweight of the Air. Ill have to do some more thinking.

You can always buy an external USB SuperDrive for the air. The MacBook Air also has faster boot-ups and is faster when opening apps because of the SSD instead of the hard drive. I am getting the air but they are probably coming out with new macbook models in June but get one now if you really need a laptop right now.
