Hello! I have a Power Mac G5 (Powermac 7,3) with following specs...

Processor:  PowerPC G5 (3.0)

Speed:        2.5 GHz

CPUs:         2

OS:            Mac OS X 10.5.6

When I plug in the wireless USB card provided by my internet service provider my G5 does not recognize it, at least I can't tell if it does. The only options which show up under network preferences are INTERNAL MODEM, ETHERNET and FIREWIRE. A mac expert told me it might be because the USB wireless adapter I'm using is USB 3 which my G5 won't recognize cause it uses USB 2. This doesn't make sense because I'm using the same adapter to get wifi on my PC which is even older than my G5.

If my only option is to go with an airport card and antenna can anyone tell me which model is compatible with my G5? Thanks!

PowerMac, Mac OS X (10.5.6), Power Mac G5 Dual 2.5GHz
