    AJ,

If possible, you should acquire Numbers and do your chart there, where you have more options and tools.

You can copy parts of your Numbers document and Paste into Pages for the report.

I'm guessing at what your problem is. Do you want to know how to scale your data so that it will all plot nicely on the same axis, or are you looking for a dual-value axis chart?

    AJ,

The reason that I suggested that you use Numbers to make your charts is that you could have an auxiliary column that automatically scales your input to a nice range for charting.

Post a screen shot of your data and how you would like to display it and maybe we can come up with a good solution for you. Do you have Numbers.app?

Thanks for your help!... sure ,I'm working with some documentation about system partitions on a server.

I got a 50GB HD and is formated in 3 parts, one part is for the system , other for the C/: and the other is for the E/:

If you know how to format this on pages will be really handy in the future ... because i can save this format and use it later... thanks!

    AJ,

What you are doing there with Custom Format doesn't change the value of the numeric entry, it just decorates it. Be careful that you don't end up misrepresenting the values.

To mave your work to Pages, Copy the Chart you have made in Numbers and Paste it into Pages.

You can scale the data in this way:

The formula in Column B is:

    =A/1000000

A scale is a scale, you can't change horses mid stream.

Referring to comparable measures with different names (measures) is confusing in itself.

I know this from huge errors that have crossed my desk from consultants who should know better. One miscalculated network transfer times by a factor of 8 due to switching back and forth between bits and bytes of data.
