Q: lime iBook to listen to podcasts?
I still have my lime iBook. The OS is 9.2.2, and it has 320 MB built-in memory. Until a few years ago, I still used it to edit videos, or to open some old file or database and convert it to something usable on my more modern Mac. I do still use it now to listen to music (I have an old version of iTunes that works just fine on it for listening to MP3 files).
What I would really like to use it for is to listen to podcasts and other broadcasts streaming from the net - like This American Life, or various shows from BBC radio. But I can no longer connect it to the Internet at all. And I'm not even sure I'll be able to listen to anything with such an old operating system.
Is it a hopeless cause to try to get this to see my wireless network at home?
And I should note that the last time I took this out in public, a small crowd gathered - people just LOVE how it looks, even now, almost 13 years after I bought it.
