How do I  get "keychain" to remember a user name and Password?

somehow, on this one site, Safari (on my laptop)  DOES NOT remember username and password when I return to the site,... but on my desktop computer, safari has remembered it  for the same site!

Further, everytime I input the username and password, I AM NOT prompted by Safari as if I want to "REMEMBER" .... like it does with any NEW site I might be login in for the 1st time.....  so what gives?

Michel

Safari->Preferences->AutoFill->click on the User names and passwords Edit button, find that site's entry, delete it, quit Safari and relaunch it, go to the site, log in, and you should get the rember me dialog box.

Glad you found the rigtht area. I only picked the obvious one, but was wrong. Go back to keychain access and see if the site shows up. If so, delete those entries, quit, and repeat the Safari steps. See if that gets the save dialog.

Don't know. All I can suggest is to check everything in Safari, including cookies, and delete anything related to that site. BTW, I'm gone for three or four days, so won't be responding to any further queries.
