Ok folks - what is the answer to this riddle?

The players:

1) iMac Early 2009, 8 GB (loaded), OS X Lion latest updates

2) Airport Extreme b/g/n

3) HP Officejet 7410 (OLD)

4) Boot camp with Win OS 7 (Paid For)

Situation is that the "Add Printer" does not recognize the 7410 Printer.

I can't add the printer as I have my iMac connected to AE via LAN (for fastest speed).

The printer is not in wireless mode because it is so old it doesn't use WPA/WPA2 security which I have on AE.

The connection path is: iMac connected to AE via LAN; OfficeJet connected to AE via USB.

Question:Why can't Johnny connect to printer?

The printer works from Mac Os X (Lion) - of course.

Thanks for any help!

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5), Boot Camp Win 7

go to hp's homepage and download their latests windows7 driver for the model

the printer does not use or have to use wpa or other encryptions when it's connected by usb to the AE or computer that is handled by the AE
